Buffer Size
Samples processed per block: the latency ↔ CPU stability trade.
The buffer is how many samples your computer processes at once. At 48kHz, a 64-sample buffer adds ~1.3ms per direction; smaller buffers mean lower latency and higher CPU strain, larger buffers the reverse. Track at 64–128 samples, mix at 512+ — changing it per task is normal workflow, not a failure.
