Affiliate relationships never decide a grade. Recommendations come from published specs and third-party measurements judged against room and budget; the commercial links are added afterward and change neither the ranking nor the price you pay. A pick that fails the spec bar stays out no matter who would pay for the click.

Sourcing

We cite third-party measurements and standards by name and link them. We do not scrape, trace, or republish other outlets’ measurement graphics — our charts are self-drawn schematics. Where a claim is our editorial judgment rather than a sourced figure, we say so on the page.

Accuracy and honest dates

Model names and specs are checked against manufacturer documentation. Guides carry an honest “updated” date reflecting the last substantive review, not an automated bump. Prices are refreshed from data and can lag — the live figure is always the retailer’s page reached through /go.

Corrections

Spot an error — a wrong spec, a dead link, a claim that hasn’t aged well? Tell us and we’ll fix it and note material corrections in the piece. Reach the bench. Our grading method is documented in full on the methodology page.

No hype in our own voice

We don’t write “audiophile-grade” or “studio-quality.” We grade with numbers or we don’t grade, and we frame hearing-safety claims conservatively — no medical promises.
