What we collect

Newsletter & contact. If you subscribe or write in, we store the email address (and any message) you provide, to reply and to send the letter you asked for. Unsubscribe any time from the footer of an email.

Analytics. We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which guides help. These do not build advertising profiles of you.

Affiliate links. When you follow a /go link, we set a first-party attribution cookie so a resulting purchase is credited to us, and the retailer may set its own cookies under its policy. This never changes your price. See our editorial standards for how affiliate revenue is kept separate from recommendations.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell or rent personal data, and we don’t run cross-site advertising trackers.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe, request deletion of the email data we hold, or block cookies in your browser. To make a request, contact us.
