Banana Plug
A spring-sided connector that makes speaker hookup a five-second job.
Banana plugs terminate bare speaker wire in a sprung pin that pushes into the center of a binding post. They prevent stray-strand shorts, survive repeated re-plugging, and make moving gear painless. A quality-of-life buy, not a sound-quality one — no honest test distinguishes them from clean bare wire.
